Ron Butler - Board of Directors campaign speech 2019

Hi, I’m Ron Butler. Most of you have seen me around rehearsals. I’ve been with ARTC for longer than is good for me. These days, I’m primarily a writer.

I was on the Board a number of years ago and dropped out because I felt I wasn’t getting enough done as a Board member to address the Company’s problems: Negative cash flow. A studio production process that wasn’t matching the money and effort the Company had put into setting it up. Tangled lines of communication and decision-making in the areas of production, marketing / advertising, and sales.

Now things are worse. We’re broke. How long ARTC can continue to operate is unclear.

The Strategic Planning Committee will be presenting proposals very soon on how we can put the Company back on a sustainable footing. I would like to help get ARTC on its feet again.
